We'll be in Paris for Palm Sunday and for Easter. Any ideas to help experience these holidays as cultural events?

I've been in Paris during the Easter period several times. There are mobs of people everywhere, at churches, museums, etc. On Easter Sunday, the churches will be overflowing. Hotels will be full, so get a reservation for your time there.
