We will be in Bacharach, Germanx during Easter next year. Does anyone know if there are Easter festivities going on there at that time? If so, how would they impact activities like cruising the Rhine, etc.?

The 2014 schedule isn't out yet, but I don't see anything on this year's schedule indicating any exceptions for holidays.

Easter next year is April 20th. That is pretty early to be in Bacharach. The website for KD lines on the Rhine says that they do not start operating until 29 April. http://www.kdrhine.com/kdrhineMainz.htm While I would not mind the Rhine in the off season, I would imagine that some things will not be operating. You might check with the Bacharach Tourist Office.

That is the High Season schedule, but they do run a Low Season schedule beginning the last weekend in March.
