Is Eagle's nest real close to Berchtesgarden or Garmisch? How about lodging in either of these towns? Thanks.

There is a bus that goes from Berchtesgaden Bahnhof to the base of Kehlstein in 12 minutes. From the base to the Eagles' Nest, you can only go by foot or on special buses.
