I am trying to plan my city tour for 7 hours in Dusseldorf. Besides Old city - Media Center, Burgplatz) can you give me some suggestions about othe interesting attractions? How are the transfer airport to old city. I've seen something about S-Bahn. It's easy tp get the transfers? I can't find on internet a map ao f S-bahn to figure out how far is the airport than old town?

Here's the website for the public transit system that gets you from the airport (5 miles north of the Altstadt/Old Town) to the Altstadt; the British flag gives you the English version: Düsseldorf public transitThe airport is about 5 miles north of Old Town, which is called Altstadt, an important word for you to remember.I don't know the details of how you get from the airport to Altstadt but the above website may provide that info.The other thing you can do that may be useful to you is: do the free download of Google Earth, takes 3 minutes. When on Google Earth, enter Dusseldorf in the Fly To box. To find the airport, go to Layers on left side, open Places of Interest, Transportation, check Airports, also check Subway. You will then see the airport 5 miles north, you'll see Alstadt on the east side of the river in the city center, and you'll see the blue U symbols that show the subway route and each station from the airport to Altstadt.Things to Do:walking tour of Alstadtwalk the elegant Königsalleethere are 2 art museums (PM me if you want details of those)Alstadt is known as the longest bar in the world, whatever you do, don't order a Kölsch in Düsellsorf, order an Altbier (beer)--this is important, you can miss the art mueums but don't order the wrong beer.
