Duderstadt, Germany

Does anyone know of this town in Germany & have visited it or the surrounding area? Is it worth a visit as it looks beautiful. I actually know someone who lives there & was thinking of visiting next year when we visit Germany.

Duderstadt is in the greater Göttingen area, which is just south of the Hartz mountains. Goslar and Quedlingburg, the two gems of the Hartz and of course Mt. Brocken are not too far. Take steam train ride up Mt. Brocken, enjoy the view!
