I am planing to drive from Paris to Budapest at the end of march into April, can anyone suggest a route, things to see and places to stop? I will have 3 to 4 days for the drive. Thanks

Paris - Strasbourg - Munich - Salzburg - Vienna - Budapest. These are pretty much on a straight line. And, of course, points of interest in between the above waypoints.

Paris - stop at Reims, Champagne region for a snack/lunch - crossing border to Germany at Saarbrücken - stop at Heidelberg for sightseeing and dinner - drive for another hour our two, stay over night in the Stuttgart area. Next morning maybe visit the Mercedes Benz or Porsche museum or have breakfast at a sidewalk cafe in downtown Stuttgart looking at the giant castle - drive to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, sightseeing, lunch - stop at Dinkelsbühl, have a coffee - drive to Munich, sightseeing and over night stay. Next day drive to Salzburg, Austria, sightseeing - drive to Vienna, sightseeing, stay over night. Next day: Vienna to Budapest.

How long do you suspect it would take if i were t spend a day at each recommended place?
