We will be flying into Zurich airport at 7am then driving to Mulhouse in France. How long does it take to drive to Mulhouse? Is there anything interesting to see along the way to Mulhouse to fill in some time until we can check in at our hotel?

It's about a 90mins to two hours drive and apart from downtown Zurich itself Basel is a great sight on your way. The downtown is picturesque and the views of the rhine river "knee" are quite something... From Mulhouse/Mühlhausen you can also take a day trip to Freiburg and the Black Forrest...
