Driving from Avignon to Nice

sorry, foggy crystal ball symptoms ... not receiving clearly ... just see a few bright lights ... now the haze is thicker now ,,, can't see a bloody thing .... What is the best route driving from Avignon to Nice considering? considering what????

Nigel Plese forgive me for the incomplete sentence. I was temporarily distracted by someone walking into my office and I guess I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. Good thing I wasn't behind the wheel. A friend of mine wants to try driving along the Riviera from Aix to Nice and is a little nervous about it. She was asking me about what was the fastest route, not necessarily the most scenic. When I was there, I took the most scenic route along the coast stopping at various spots so I wasn't sure if there is an expressway that she could take. Thanks for your expertise and time.

That now becomes clearer. For my first question this morning I have a really easy one. If she had looked at a map she would have seen than a straight line from Aix-en-Provence to Nice is formed by the A8 autoroute. €18.10 in tolls, about 2 hours.
