You surely do not want to bus this at about 15 hours (however you break it up) compared to possibly 5.5 hours by train? 'Still having trouble understanding the train passes and reservations. Help.' -What trouble, with what pass? If you have a set itinerary and publish it, I might be telling you a pass is ripping you off and you should be buying discounted point to point tickets in advance.
