Drive from Plazac (near Sarlat) to San Sebastian

Any suggestions for an itinerary for driving from near Sarlat to San Sebastian on Aug 2nd (a Thursday). I expect we will have already seen Bordeaux and St. Emilion. We are thinking of heading straight for the coast and heading south but we are very much open to suggestions!........ We'll have 2 kids (8 & 5) with us.
