Dresden to Seiffen

It looks like Seiffen is only accessible by bus, and there are a number of bus stops. According to the Bahn website, there is a 2 hr connection, a 27 min regional train to Freiberg, followed by a 1hr 15 min bus to Seiffen Schule (but there are about 6 other bus stops in Seiffen.

Have never been to Seiffen but here is a page with hotel listings. A couple of them say they're near the center of town. thanks all - a friend and I were in Seiffen during the Christmas Markets in 2009 but we were with a (wonderful) tour and traveled there from Prague. This time (not during market time) I will be in Dresden. I loved the town so much, I want my husband to see it. Looks like the train to Freiberg and bus will have to be my choice....I'll see if I can talk my husband into renting a car. I remember there weren't many parking places when we were there but that was during market time - maybe other times aren't so crowded? Besides, the hotel you recommended, James, looks wonderful!!!!!
