The name of the town is Görlitz (note the umlauted o). It can also be spelled Goerlitz. According to their listing on the accommodations list on the website for Görlitz, www.goerlitz.de, the email address is [email protected]. Choose "hotel" from the list of accommodation type (Unterkunftsart), then click "Suche starten" (start search). If you choose "Unterkunftsname" under Ergebnisse sortieren nach:, Dreibeiniger Hund is the fourth listing down the page. Click "info".

I could find no e-mail address on the website, only phone and fax numbers. but if you fill in the booking request form and provide your email address, they should email you back and then you will have their address. The booking form is "unbinding" (unverbindliche) so don't worry about sending a request; it is not a reservation and just starts the conversation.

For the rest of your trip planning, consider Google Translate. It will even translate as you click around the foreign site. There are often flaws, but you can get the idea. There are many small American companies that also conceal their email address using a web "form". I also find it annoying, but isn't it more annoying when there is no answer to a directly emailed inquiry? I've found that small German hotels are very good about answering inquiries.

No need for Google translate. Goerlitz's website does have an English language side. I didn't notice it before because I'm modestly fluent (very modestly, embarrassingly so), so I always use the German side for practice: I never look for an English side. Tim's right, the translation software often "has flaws". sometimes is pretty funny, but you can usually get the idea.

We stayed here in 2008 and loved it. I had no trouble reserving via email. Looked back at emails and they responded in english.
