dordogne restaurants

Hi there, I have yet another question. We will be staying in Beynac oct. 24-28. Has anyone stayed there recently that late in the season? I am concerned that restaurants there will be closed, leaving us with few choices; although it seems to me that the locals must dine out. So maybe Sarlat would be better?
Thanks

La Petite Tonnelle is very nice, we ate there twice. I expect it would be open in late October, still plenty of people around then. There are a couple of other nice ones by the river in "downtown" Beynac. Sarlat would have a lot of restaurants of course, but we liked Beynac better as a place to stay.
