From London, does the eurostar go to Bruges? I would much rather see Bruges than Brussels but I only have two days and I am taking the Eurostar from London.
The Eurostar doesn't go direct, you can either change trains in Lille or Brussels. I believe you can purchase tickets from London all the way to Bruges via www.eurostar.com
A ticket from London to Brussels on the Eurostar includes the ABS (any Belgian station) feature. Here is a quote from the Eurostar site:
Tickets booked to Brussels are valid for travel to any station within Belgium provided you continue your journey within 24 hours of arriving into Brussels. You do not need a specific ticket as your Eurostar ticket will cover you for this part of your journey and there is no need to book a seat.
You would be able to travel onto Bruges, Antwerp, and any other Belgium station covered by the classic train service.
The transfer time from Brussels to Bruges or Antwerp is approximately 50 minutes. You would need to make a simple platform change at Brussels Midi/Zuid station. This involves walking from the Eurostar arrivals area to the appropriate platform in the domestic section of the station. The destinations are clearly displayed on the departure boards.
