Does anyone know if those on a RS Best of Europe tour that lands in Munich during Oktoberfest, features group activities there? Or, would you have to break off from the group to attend? I looked at the 14 day BOE tour and a number of folks complained that Munich was a low point - not sure why, no details were provided. Seems like Oktoberfest would be fun if the group went there. The tour initerary mentions going to Residenz Palace, then being free to do your own thing. I wondered if it was different during Oktoberfest. Thanks :)
