Disneyland Paris- Official site, online home printed tickets

The official Disney site just added the option for online home printed tickets (they are calling them "E-tickets"), at least for U.S. based orders. Although the site says there's still an option to mail, we spent a day looking for a mail option and couldn't find it. So now we've printed our "E-tickets" for our daytrip to Disney from Paris.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with using these yet, or if it's a brand new thing for the parks? Specifically, I'm wondering how these home printed tickets get exchanged when you get to the parks (they'll have to give you a regular plastic card at some point to use in the Fastpass machines). The only instructions on the tickets/on the Disney site are "Go directly to the turnstiles at the entrance to the Resort." I'd like to know how/where we'll get a FastPass card and if we'll have to go to a separate queue and where we'll get these exchanged? We only have one day for both parks, so I'd like to know the process before we arrive to save as much time as possible. Thanks so much!

I believe the Fastpass is only available to those staying at one of the official hotels. If you are just a day visitor you have to wait in the regular "standby" lines. Thus you probably won't be given a plastic card once you redeem your e-ticket.

Thanks, but I am 99.9% sure that FastPass is available to everyone there, but I'll check. I am 100% sure this is the case at WDW in FL, and on our Disneyland Paris Tickets we just printed there's even an advertisement about FastPass on them. The bonus that hotel guests get is that they have Early Morning Hours in the parks before the rest of us get to come in at regular entry time (it's the same at WDW).

Nancy you are correct , the fastpasses are available to anyone who uses their admission ticket in the fastpass machines.I think perhaps Michael means the early admissions passes , which are only for hotel guests.
I am sure when you go to the turnstiles they will exchange your ticket for a ticket( that sounds odd, LOL ) .

As I recall there are two lines, those who have tickets ( you) and those lines moved quickly, and those who do not have tickets( was me) and they moved slowly as everyone in front had to wait till they were right at wicket window and then decide which park pass they wanted, for how many days, and where was their money( as they rifle through their bags) .. it was painful!
