In May, 2009 my wife and I will be visiting the Benelux countries and will be taking the train from Bruges to Lille and onto the Paris Gare du Nord. We then need to get to the Gare St Lazare for our continuing train trip to Caen. I've tried MapQuest Europe to no avail. It looks like we will have a little over one hour to make the transition from one train station to the other. Help. Thanks, Dorsey

I've never done it...but it looks like Metro line 7 will get you from Gare du Nord to St Lazare
From Gare du Nord walk to the Magenta RER-E train station (This long walk will be all underground I believe). Take the train to Haussmann Saint-Lazare, get off and walk to Gare Saint-Lazare (this too is a long walk).
