Any recommedations for a lovely (moderately priced) dinner in Murren on a Sunday evening in June? We arrrive in Murren early afternoon and leave the next morning.

The best place to eat in Murren is the Stagerstubli. Order the lamb.

Switzerland is not the place to look for moderate prices... Everything is too expensive so don't be surprised at your dinner tab. Yes, the Stager Stubli is a good place. Last year when we were there they were expanding their restaurant with additional square footage. Hotel Alpenruh also has a nice restaurant with a very very nice patio which provides some outdoor seating. The outdoor seating looks out over the Eiger and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Hotel Bellvue also has a nice restaurant. Since you've only got 1 evening to devote to Mürren (such a shame) you should make dinner reservations.

If you haven't left yet, the Hotel Blumental had a wonderful dinner in beautiful surroundings. I had a delicious roast chicken in a black cherry port sauce. Give my regards to the dear mountains and the cows!
