Can anyone recommend a hotel, under $150 per night in early September, easily accessible with car & including parking in or quite near Dinan? The plan is to stay 2 nights in Dinan with a daytrip to Mon St Michel while there. Old world charm, B&Bs, etc. with easy Dinan access especially welcomed.

The hotel where we stayed is posted below. It was centrally located, a nice hotel, and parking was available in a large lot across the street. I don't remember prices, sorry.......I would suggest you give serious consideration to staying instead in St. Malo and visiting Dinan for an hour or so. There really isn't much to see or do in Dinan, St. Malo is much more interesting! Hotel La D'Avaugour 1 Place du champ 22100 Dinan, Brittany, France

We liked Dinan but I can't recommend the hotel we picked - it's in Rick's book - Hotel du Theatre. One of our favorite restaurants for crepes in that region was Creperie Ahna.

Hotel de la Tour de l'Horloge is pretty nice for about seventy-five bucks a nice. There's free parking down the street in the square, but you have to get out of the way before dawn or market day or get towed. Given my choice, I'd rather stay in St Malo anytime. Intra Muros, the Ajoncs d'Or is our choice and runs about a hundred dollars a night. Parking on the street might be hard to find, but there's perfectly fine free lots just outside the wall.
