Can you recomend accomodations in Dinan, France in September. thank you mary
We spent 2 nights in June, 2008 at Hotel la D'Avaugour, l Place du Champ, Dinan. The location was excellent; we also enjoyed two dinners at Le Canterbory Restaurant nearby. However, we felt that Dinan itself was a town that merited only two or three hours, unless you enjoy VERY relaxed and sleepy places. There's a charming street that goes down to the river, a few blocks of shops that are in medieval buildings, but that seemed to be about it. I think it is over hyped-made to sound like it is the French version of York......We spent half a day in St. Malo which was bigger and far more interesting. If we ever return to that area, we would stay in St. Malo instead.
thank You, very helpful
