We went the first week and had a great time as usual! No issues except the price of beer went up again!

My husband and 5 elderly family members attended the afternoon of Thursday, Sept 23 and had no problems at all. We went into a couple of different beer tents and walked the grounds but we were gone by 5 pm.

No. But we did not like the fact that one had to reserve table (for 3 hours) in order to drink. Standing did not get one served where we were at. 350K drinkers per day is a tall order. And yes they raised prices again. We were in Munich in June and the beers were much cheaper. But it's a cool time with a very "electric" kind of atmosphere.
