DB tickets not valid

This is something new I noticed between Leipzig and Berlin and am concerned that Eurail doesn't cover this? Does anyone know?

Linda, there are two rail companies competing on that leg: DB Deutsche Bahn and Connex. Connex's product is called InterConnex and DB tickets aren't accepted vv. There are, however, plenty of DB ICE trains running on that new high-speed connection between Berlin Hbf and Leipzig (just over an hour now).
