Hi,
I am staying in Interlaken for 1 night, can someone suggest me a good day trip? We have thought of Jungfrau. Also, we are staying 2 nights in Lucerne. Is it good to go to Mt. Titlis?
Please let me know. Thanks.

You cannot see much in 1 day considering your travel to and from Interlaken.
We stayed in Lauterbrunnen for 6 nights and still did not get to see all we wanted to during our day trips.
Having been to the Jungfrau and Mt. Titlis, I would choose to go to the Jungfrau. Actually, I would stay in Lucerne for 1 night and Lauterbrunnen (or that area) for 2 nights. For me, Mt. Titlis is okay, but the Jungfrau area is magnificant. Have fun!
The Jungfraujoch is a wonderful place to visit. Just to note that it will take you 20 minutes to "train" in from the Intelaken Ost station to the Lauterbrunnen station. From there, you change to the cog train for the ride up. It takes 2 hours to go up and 2 hours to come back down. It's very scenic. The Crystal restaurant has a very nice lunch. Full fare cost is about $134 each for a round trip. A nice alternative would be to gondola/cog train up to Murren from the Lauterbrunnen BLM train station and gondola down (or 30 minute walk) to Gimmelwald. Outstanding small and scenic Swiss villages. If you choose this option, you still have time to jump back down to Lauterbrunnen and cog train up to Wengen (pronounced Vengen). It's also very scenic.
I also suggest going up from Lauterbrunnen to the top and then on the way down stop in Murren(a neat town) and walk down to Gimmelwald. Its a easy walk amid the bell ringing cows.
Vids ...
... in Lucerne, be sure to take a cruise to Vitznau on Lake Lucerne ... if the weather is clear, go on the cog train from Vitznau to the top of Rigi mountain... a great view you'll never forget... You may board a steamer from the dock by the Lucerne train station. Tickets are inexpensive.
Have a great trip... P.
I second the idea to take the train to Lauterbrunnen, then the cable car & train to Murren. Gimmelwald is worth the hike as well. We were just at all of these places a week ago and we LOVED it there.
I would agree with the others. I would stay in Luzern for 1 night and 2 nights in the Berner Oberland. Rather than staying in Interlaken though, I would recommend staying in Gimmelwald or at lest in Lauterbrunnen. I prefer the Schilthorn over the Jungfrau. The views are better from the Schilthorn because it includes the Jungfrau. It is also cheaper to get to. The Schilthorn has a rotating restaurant as well. While the food is okay, the views are amazing. While the cogwheel train is amazing when you think about what they had to go through to build it, the train ride itself was pretty boring. Much of the train ride is within a dark tunnel and both my husband and I were falling asleep!
