We will be on a cruise in October 2012 and looking for any suggestions on 1/2 day trips to Eze. There are 4 people in our party. Any help would be appreciated!!

you probably will have a hard time to make this work. from nice it'll be easy you can take the bus but from monte carlo you may have to get to nice first, then from the nice train station to the bus station, from there you take the bus and this whole trip can take a lot of time in transition. if you don't find other suggestions you may have to skip eze this time and just train to other towns along the coast, nice, antebes, menton, etc.

I think it's pretty easy by taxi from Monte Carlo/Monaco to Eze and back. According to Viamichelin, it's 8 kilometers (five miles) and 12 minutes, even with the twisty, turning roads. There's also a local bus route, #112 according to posters on other sites, and a local train, too, which I've taken several times. Maybe someone else can look it up and tell you exactly how often the train runs. During rush hour it's more frequent because it's a commuter train. But for four people it's pretty cost effective to just have a taxi take you exactly where you want to go, whether Eze beach or Eze Village and the perfume factory.
