Our daughter will be studing in Granda Spain this coming Spring and we will be going to visit her at the end of March. We will be flying in via Malaga and renting a car to drive up to Granada. We will arrive in Granada on Sunday afternoon and stay until Thursday afternoon so our daughter can attend her classes. While in Granada we will go to the Alhambra and explore the city but would like some ideas of day trips from the city. We are thinking about a trip to Alpujarra as well as Cordoba. On Thursday night we will drive (daughter in tow as she has no classes on Friday) to spend the night in Ronda, following day and night in Ronda, and then down to Tarifa to spend the night, take the ferry the next morning to Tangiers, back that evening to spend the night in Tarifa and on to Malaga the next day to spend the night and fly out the following morning. Our daughter will hop the bus from Malaga back to Granada or off to parts unknown as she will be start her Spring break at that time. Can't be with her on break due to work schedule. Does this sound like a good itineary? Any changes or suggestions of day trips from Granada would be greatly appreciated.
