Hi. I am spending a month at a french language school, IS, in Aix starting late September. I will have some 3 day weekends. I prefer using public transport only. I have taken a RS tour and have been to Arles, Avignon and les Beau. I love markets and old architecture. Thanks

I'm sure you'll get to Marseille at some point (the trains and buses between Aix and Marseille are very frequent, and it's the closest big city). I found almost no English there, so it's perfect for practicing your French. I liked it, but it's certainly not what most tourists have in mind.
