Has anyone taken a day trip to Reims from Paris? We would like to do 1 or 2 champagne tours.

Michele, If I remember correctly there were about 4 champagne cellars a short walking distance from the train station. The Reims cathedral is also near the train station as was a park to have a champagne picnic. Have fun.

We are going on a Champagne Tour through Arblaster and Clarke (London) beginning November 24th. They are going to Bollinger, the most divine makers of champagne on the planet! Our entire trip is based around this tour. You might want to see if they have anything else going around the time you are headed that way. Bon Jour!

We did a day trip to Reims from Paris in 2005. This was before the TGV went there. We didn't do any champagne tours as it was a really cold and rainy day and we ended up just wanting to stay dry and warm. Still, it's a charming city, loved seeing the cathedral, especially the Chagall window. I had done a lot of reading on the history of the French royalty and it was good to see where they were all coronated. Have a great trip.
