Our ship docks in Marseilles (October) and we need directions on how to visit Allauch. Train or bus would be preferred. Also, are there cooking classes available in Provence near Marseilles?

Looking at the Marseille transport website, Allauch is served by Marseille city bus route number 144, which leaves from the La Rose metro station at the east end of metro line 1. You'd need to check with the shipping company where exactly the ship docks and how to get to the nearest metro station. The 144 runs about every 15-20 minutes on Mon-Fri, 20-30 minutes on Saturday, and 30-60 minutes on Sunday, and takes about 17 minutes to make the journey.
