I'm wondering if anyone has done a day trip from Bilbao to Lequetio AND Guernica (the same day)via public transit. I see it is possible to go Bilbao-Guernica on Euskotren but I can't find out how to get from Guernica to Lequetio and then back to Bilbao. Rick says there is bus transport from Bilbao to Lequetio, but I'm not clear what bus company, and if the same company connects Lequetio and Guernica. We could pick up our car a day earlier to do this trip, but would rather do it by train/bus if possible.

Hello, the company running the bus from Gernika to Lekeitio is called "Bizkaibus" and the journey from one city to the other takes around 1 hour. This is the same company serving Gernika (and actually the bus that continues to Lekeitio starts in Bilbao). There are no trains arriving to Lekeitio.
There are buses every 2 hours running back and forward. Lines are A3513 and A3523. Aitor Delgado
