D-Day Landing Tours

Has anyone had an experience with D-Day Landing Tours, previously NormandyTownand Country? Owners are Eric and Michelle Le Doux-Turnbull.
Also, has anyone experience with Lucie Hoffman from Bayeux? Thank you, Jane from Tennessee

I went with Overlord but I just saw a really great review of Lucie Hoffman on Trip Advisor, if that helps you.

We recently went with Overlord as well. Guide was Sean and he was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Jane, Just thought I would throw another suggestion into the mix as I have no experience with DDAy Landing...however we LOVED our tour with Ellwood vonSiebold of DDay Battletours. Highly highly recommend. This tour was the best part of our entire time in Normandy. Check out his website at DDaybattletours.com. If you go with Ellwood, it will be a day you will never forget. Enjoy!!

We also toured with Sean of Overlord in May and enjoyed it immensely. I cannot recommend him enough. Very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Danielle is wonderful. In a small car, not on the bus, and she will tailor the trip to your interests. She was born in the area, the day after D-day and has a special love for Americans. She also lived here for many years.

Our tour guide Duncan was amazing. We booked a private tour and he drove us in his Mercedes. His knowledge was outstanding, and we saw so much more than the usual tours. Www.normandysightseeingservices.com We had some friends who toured with Ellwood, and were in tears as they didn't see half of the sights, as he just wanted them to eat in his restaurant. They spent half a day in St Mere Eglise.

Sara, I really wish your friends would post in depth about their experience...I'd like to read that.

My 17 yr old daughter and i did Overlord tours as well! Best money we ever spent! Nice small group of 8 in a van. We stayed in Bayeux and picked up from the main street. I know there are alot to chose from but the tour was so serene a nd relaxing that we never saw any other tour or feel it was commercialized/touristy. It was so humbling to see all the sites...please really read up before you go so you understand what you see. My daughter and i definitely did but the others in the group didnt. The only thing i wish we had more time was at the cemetary, worth staying a half a day.

You have to wonder when someone digs up a two year old thread to make their first post. What's the agenda.
