Crowe Plaza Amsterdam City Centre

I've stayed there a few times. It's a business class hotel, even for pricey Amsterdam rates are very high. It just underwent a complete renovation; rooms are very clean and modern, but standard rooms are very small even by European standards. It's known for having the best American style buffet breakfast in the city. It's within easy walking distance of Centraal Station, Dam Square, and the Anne Frank House; there's a tram stop just a few feet from the main entrance. To get to the airport simply walk five minutes to Centraal Station and hop on a train to the airport (departures every ten minutes or so). http://g.co/maps/2k2mf

when I did the globus tour of the Netherlands and Belgium the tour stayed at the Crown Plaza which was a decent hotel. Very close to the train station to take day trips out of Amsterdam.
