Hi, two friends and I are taking a 5 day trip to Provence and the Riviera. We are sleeping in Nice and want to take the bus/train out to Eze and Monaco for one of the days, then catch a train to Marseille. Trains are at 17h32 and 19h41. Would we have enough time to make the 17h32 out of Nice, or should we wait for the later one?

Okay, thanks. I guess I should have been more specific. How long would you recommend staying in each of those places (Eze and Monaco)?

You could take a morning bus from Nice to Eze-le-Village, pay a visit, and then go on to Monaco by bus. You could leave Monaco by train at 16:50, 17:32, or 19:02, and connect in Nice for trains to Marseille at 17:32, 18:02, and 19:41 respectively. That should give you plenty of time in both Eze and Monaco.
Or do the reverse. Take a morning train to Monaco, take a bus to Eze, and take a bus to Nice in time to catch either the 17:32, 18:02, or 19:41 train to Marseille.
