Ww will be in the port of Savona in Nov. '11 for one day and would like some tips/advise on how to get around into city's local area attractions and nice shops. From where the cruise ships dock, is it far from city center (walking distance)? Can you walk or get around to terminal for public buses or train? Does anyone recomend traveling to Genoa by bus or train without risking loosing the cruise ship?
And last, are the cruise tours worth the $$$?
