This November we will be visiting for one day at Catania and would like some tips/advise on how to get around into the city's local attractions. From where the cruise ships dock is it far from city center or nice local shops? Can you walk or get around by public or port buses?
Is there any nice small town near, that may be accessed by bus or train, that we can visit? And last, are the cruise tours worth the $$$?
