We are taking a short trip to Barcelona and would like to rent a car and go somewhere beach-y for a few days. Any suggestions? We would like to go to the Dali house so I was thinking of Cadaques. Appreciate any input!

We loved our stay in Sitges. On the beach and such a nice community south of Barcelona.

A few years ago we spent some time in the little seaside village of Llafranc, north of Barcelona. It was great, a beautiful spot. If you stay on the Costa Brava, sign up for a boat ride that'll take you into the caves along the coast. Nothing like it.

We really liked our visit to the Costa Brava.
We stayed in the village of l'Escala
And visited Girona, Cadaques and Figueres.
We also went to Empuries, which are ruins
Not far from l'Escala. We had a car which was easier since trains and buses are not frequent.
We we're there in may and it was pretty empty.
