Cordoba Overnight

I've booked hotels in all the other cities that we are visiting but haven't yet found a reasonably priced, reasonably well located, and well recommended place in Cordoba.

Any ideas or experiences? Has anyone stayed at the Hesperia Cordoba (just across the bridge from the old city)?

Thanks for any help

I'v stayed at the Maimonides a couple of times and have seen no need to change. For what it's worth, the Hesperia has pretty goood guest reviews on Venere, so it wouldn't give me any problem (I've never seen it).

W were very happy with our stay at the Hotel La Mezquita, which is located across the street from THE major attraction of the same name.

We just stayed at the Hesperia Cordoba for one night on August 3rd. It was fine, but what we really appreciated was the easy access off the highway and the location right across the Roman bridge from the Mezquita. There is a bus stop close by if you walk as far as the Roman temple columns in the modern city and need a ride back to the hotel. The Mezquita is lighted at night as well as is the Roman bridge, making an evening crossing a lovely stroll. Even in August there were birds to watch in the river. It's location, location, A+.

We will be in Cordoba for two nights in October. We have reservations at Hotel San Miguel for the reasonable rate of 55 euros per night for a double room. It is well-reviewed on Tripadvisor.com.

Well, I have reservations for Hesperia in Cordoba and at San Miguel in Ronda! I'll take a look at San Miguel in Cordoba but sounds like Hesperia will be fione as well. Thanks for the feedback!
