I booked for 4 nights at the Hotel, received a confirmation email in November. I emailed 3 weeks ago again, just to reaffirm my reservation, I've heard nothing. I emailed again last week, still no reply. This morning I sent a note from the web page just in case my email address is blocked and I'm still waiting. I'll be arriving in Paris in 3 weeks, any suggestions from the experienced fans of Rick. I've also read on Rick's Graffiti Wall about similar experiences from other travelers. Is it time to move on?

why don't you give them a call and confirm? they may very well have received your email - checked their records and confirmed that you have a reservation but not realized you wanted a return email.

What do you mean about similar experiences reported on the Graffiti Wall? Did people book the Hotel Champs de Mars, get a confirmation, and then have the reservation denied when they arrived? Most places do not expect a "reconfirm" once you have a rreservation confirmed in writing, as by email. And they probably do not feel the need to take time to acknowledge your message. But if you are concerned, then the best thing is to call them.

John - We have stayed at the Champ du Mars twice and I always just called a week or so in advance to confirm. We have enjoyed both of our stays there and will stay again when we are in Paris.
