Comments on Etap hotel in Dresden, Germany?

Hello! I am looking to travel to Dresden and Berlin for a week this coming spring and am looking for a budget hotel option in Dresden. I came across the Etap Dresden City hotel for $42-52 a night, which supposedly includes free wifi. Has anyone stayed there? I've never stayed at an Etap, but the website pictures look good, and the location looks great. Seems too good to be true!

Kyla, I see that it got great reviews on Trip Advisor. If you are looking for a decent budget hotel, it looks like you got it. I am booked just across the river at the Motel One and am paying about double the rate you will if you choose this hotel. It looks like a great bargain. Hope you enjoy!

Kyla, I have never stayed at the Etap in Dresden but we did stay at the one in Honfleur and would have no reservations about staying at any of their locations. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an economical place to stay with nice clean rooms albeit on the small side. Breakfast was included where we stayed and that is probably a chain wide policy. Etap is part of the huge ACCOR banner. I am not sure if all have limited hours for the receptionist but the one in Honfleur did. This did not cause a problem for us since their hours are convenient for typical arrival and departure times.

Thanks so much for the replies! I think I'll give the Etap in Dresden a try.

Seconding Lane, Etap hotels are reliably clean, comfortable, and cheap. I like them (and the Accor brand hotels in general).
