Hi, We are planning to go to Monet Garden & Musee Mareottan.
I read from Musee Mareottan official site (http://www.marmottan.com/english/informations-pratiques/infos.asp) that we can purchase a combined ticket for Monet Garden & Musee Mareottan for 18 Euro (1.5 euro cheaper). Has any purchased the combined ticket before? Is it only sold in Musee Mareottan not Monet Garden? Can we buy the combined tickets in advance? Is the ticket only good/valid on the purchased date? Do we have to go to Musee Mareottan before we go to Monet Garden? thx Jenny
The "garden" referred to on the site which you quote correctly is the extensive installation at Giverny. Do you recognize that Giverny is well outside Paris? It requires at least a half day to do it justice. http://giverny.org/monet/welcome.htm The 1.5 € saving over buying separate admissions is hardly worth worrying about. Special exhibits at Marmottan may require an extra charge. Both Marmottan and Giverny offer electronic tickets, good for a specific day but not timed. Marmottan's e-sales details are in French and do not mention the combo ticket.
If you need more information, the two sites contain contacts you can e-mail.
