Cologne for Easter

We will be in the Cologne/Bonn area for Easter. Will the restaurants be open for a nice dinner. Will anything be open on Easter Monday?

I usually wear a combination fragrance of Cadbury Mini Eggs, malted milk eggs, and black jelly beans for Easter. Oh, wait...never mind.

Yes, restaurants will be open. They do a booming business on holidays. Check museum websites to see if they are open on the Sunday and Monday, as some will be closed. Even though most museums in Germany are closed on Mondays, when it is a holiday, they are often open. Good Friday is the day when most museums will be closed.

On Good Friday you can pretty much be sure most everything will be closed! (Except the Cathedral!)
As note, Monday is a holiday, lent is over - let the feasting resume.

Just to reconfirm: Good Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays in Germany and all stores, shops etc. will be closed. Museums may or may not be open - and probably only in the afternoons.
