My family will be visiting Colmar France in 7/2007. We want to tour the city as well as part of Route du Vin and possibly side trip to Strasbourg. Is two days enough time to do all of this and is a side trip to Strasbourg worth it if time is short?

2 days is OK. You will be able to see the most important parts and will be able to enjoy them, too. Strasbourg is very well worth the trip, especially if you do the bateaux mouche (spelling?) ride. It's like a little Paris. Don't miss it!
