I will be teaching a watercolor workshop in Provence the end of May and would like to go to Collioure afterwards but wondering if that is a good time to visit this coastal town?

I just went to Collioure on May 25 and absolutely loved it. Beautiful, just about perfect weather. You'll have a great time. I didn't find it swamped with tourists, either, although it wasn't exactly a ghost town, either.

Do it! It won't have gotten hot yet and you'll miss the darn crowds.

Been there around Easter and in May, and it was beautiful both times. The Sunday market is super! There's a reason that many Impressionists used to winter there.
