Coffee Houses

We are traveling to Vienna, Salzburg, Prague and Budapest next September. I drink decaffinated coffee and my wife drinks tea. Can we still enoy the coffee houses? In what I have read, coffe house seems to be a big part of the experience of traveling to these cities.

We always enjoy the coffee houses in Europe which are wonderful. However, most places have never heard of decaffinated. You can enjoy the Demel coffee/chocolate establishment in both Vienna and Salzburg by treating yourself to the best hot chocolate you have ever tasted!

If you want decaf in the German speaking countries, you need to ask for Entkoffeiniert Kaffee. Some places may have this (*$'s) or you may end up with just instant coffee. This instant coffee is most popularly known as Kaffee Hag, in Germany, so it might be the same in some of the near-by countries. Go for a hot chocolate instead.
