Has anybody every stopped in Cluny France? Rick mentions it in the France book and recommends the Hotel Restaurant de Bourgogne. I'm trying to find a good place to stop for the night between Lauterbrunnen and Chenanceaux. Cluny seems to be about midway. I was just wondering if anybody had any firsthand knowledge about this hotel or town. Thanks, Jill

We stayed at a great goat farm b&b in Cormatin, 20-30 km north of Cluny. We ate dinner at a little creperie on main street -- I can't tell you how great his crepes were with hot chocolate. The tour de france went thru cormatin this past July.
