I'm going to France this year to study abroad. I will be studying at a University in Tours, France and I'm not sure what is appropriate to wear for the university. I'm assuming what I already wear will be fine, but I don't want to stand out as "the American" so if anyone knows of what the norm is, that would be awsome! Thanks!

I forwarded your question on to a co-worker whose daughter just came back from studying in southern France for the past Spring semester. Here was her response:
She noticed that they (Europeans) wore the same thing
several days in a row. She sort of adopted that habit with slacks.
