Clothing Choices for next week in Paris and London...temperature.

Hey there, Starting to pack...gettting very excited, but not sure..how cold will we be? We go to Paris Thursday, London Monday. We each have a lightweight coat, gloves, will a long sleeve and maybe a sweater be ok during the day?

thanks so much

Michelle, I've been in London since last week and today (in Bath) is the first day that I've taken my jacket off. But I think it was unseasonably cold for a few days. If you're layering, you should be fine. I definitely recommend a scarf of some sort. Not only is it warm but it seems to be all the rage over here (available everywhere for cheap, too). I agree that you should just keep checking the weather. Thursday is Paris is supposed to be beautiful by the way! I'll be there then as well.

Hi Michelle,
Kent's suggestion is excellent.
I would just add that there's been lots of rain here this Spring, so something waterproof might be a good idea.
And definitely bring a sweater!
Hope you have a great trip.

The weather lately has been a bit unpredictable here.We had short periods of snow here in town last week with a big blast of arctic air. However, it has warmed to a more favorable spring temperature this past weekend. Plan for rain at the minimum in the mornings and then in the late afternoon again. Because we started daylight savings time last week, the sun is out until nearly 8pm - which makes for a nice day overall.

Depending upon the humidity level - the evenings have felt a bit cool, so plan to have a good layer to keep you a bit warmer if needed. Your layering will be the best plan to ensure you can face the elements - I would recommend an umbrella as well.
