Church Bells in Paris

We are going to be staying in the Les Halles area. Any ideas of where we could hear Church Bells, on the Sunday or at another time. Times of the ringing too would be great. :) thanks.

Almost anywhere you are in Paris you'll probably hear church bells at noon, especially if you're anywhere near Notre Dame. On Sunday mornings they'll most likely be ringing on the hour. If you happen to be in Paris on Bastille Day or Liberation Day, you'll hear lots of church bells ringing.

Notre Dame is a half mile away, sound carries. Saint Eustache is right next door.

Getting audio and video of European church bells ringing is one of my favorite things. It also drives my travel partners crazy. I have learned that the biggest bell ringing events happen just prior to high masses. So just find out via internet when that is.

Will you be in England at all during your trip? I follow the change ringing in the UK, but am less helpful on Paris bells.... just a long shot...
