Going to Spain to visit my son who is an exchange student in Granada. We will fly into Barcelona and are trying to decide if we should stop in Valencia on the way to Granada and if we do, will there will be a train that leaves Valencia to take us to Granada on Dec 24th?I guess the question is Valencia worth a stopover and is it plausible?

Valencia to Granada - There is only going to be either an overnight journey or an overnight and one day journey of about seven and a half hours for each. http://www.renfe.com/ will give you detail when the winter schedules are published, possibly, in about four weeks. Look to imminent dates to see what will be very likely. I never comment on the worth of places, your interests are surely not the same as mine.
