As central valley Californians we are looking for a snow adventure in Germany or Austria for Christmas. Where can we find a sleigh ride through the snow in Germany, Austria or England?

You probably won't find it in England, because it doesn't snow regularly there. You might find it in the Alpine regions of Germany or Austria, although snow is not always guaranteed at lower elevations.

We've already got snow on the higher elevations of the black forrest or the Bavarian and Austrian alps. I've never really heard of sleigh ride romances in England as the gulf streams keeps the British isles relatively mild during winter. Pick Munich as your hub and you've access to plenty of romantic sleigh ride resorts...
