Last year we spent the holidays in Scotland, and over the actual holy days (Christmas eve, Christmas day etc.) we went to a castle hotel outside Edinburgh. and loved it. It was like staying in a friend's lovely country home, with all of the meals served and archery lessons. Sometimes being in a big city hotel on Christmas day is sort of a downer. Any suggestions for a place like this in Spain? I am considering a ski resort, but am really up for ideas.
